My passions for teaching to edify, enlighten, empower, and motivate students of all talents ensure I’ll provide inspirational learning experiences with Join Tutors. Purposes we share clearly include: seeing ‘lights come on’ in students’ minds; building confidence while realizing dreams via reading and writing; educational parity; music ? especially its ability to boost linguistic and all nine intelligences; and business ? especially as I’ve hosted cross-cultural learning workshops, reliably and spontaneously.
Although few quotes beat yours by Aristotle, members of a women’s club ? many, mothers to children:
"I was moved by the stories and felt you taught us positive meanings to otherwise ordinary vocabulary; value, precious...."
"The stories and expression transported me and made me feel I was experiencing the events….”
"You paint such a clear picture [about] writing. I'd love to read everything you [recommend]."
My proven record of success elevating learning experiences, managing all aspects of student / parent relations, maintaining records, and balancing schedules and student portfolios make me ideally suited to join your team. I’m a kind, client-focused, consummate professional ? in all my privileged vocations.
Prior to nonprofit work, I spent six years building teams and properties that transformed a Chicago neighborhood. Prior to that, I thoroughly enjoyed a career in corporate education, starting from an apartment in L.A.. All along the way: I’ve volunteered to teach children in grades 3-12 (in parochial schools) and teens and young adults through Junior Achievement and several nonprofit organizations.
Although I live in Chicago, I always show up on time, on target, on purpose. Every day and on weekends, I’ll bring to Join Tutors: integrity, ethics, and loyalty; positivity, energy, and focus; maturity, discretion, and commitment; critical-thinking and 'people' skills; brain and learning savvy; eagerness to learn; sophisticated communication in English and Spanish; and inspirational learning experiences.
Personal references include high achievers including several Ph.Ds. (some who recently taught me), a past chair of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and entrepreneurs and philanthropists, Dublin to Chicago to L.A. Join Tutors students will overachieve academic goals while enriching experiences, enhancing communication, ensuring parents’ peace of mind, and finding JOY!
I'd also just love to work for any company that prizes learning. And I'm certain Aristotle would agree: There's no 'just' about that!
Ergo: Please, may I join Join Tutors?
