My name is Abdullah Uddin. I recently graduated from Brooklyn College with my BA in Mathematics on the Pre-Health track. Prior to this institution, I attended Brooklyn Technical High School my freshman year of high school. Then I transferred to Bard High School Early College where upon completion, I earned my associate’s degree and high school diploma. Thus, I graduated college in 2 years. I aspire to become a surgeon in the future. I have been tutoring professionally in a multitude of settings for the past 4 years. During this time, I have taught a multitude of subjects ranging from NYS Common Core ELA and Math exam to college level courses such as Multivariable Calculus. Even before my start as a tutor at the age of 16, I would teach and help my three younger brothers with school work ever since I was in elementary school. Through my teachings, I was able to help over 40 students gain admission in to Specialized High Schools and top-ranked non-specialized schools such as Bard High School Early College. In fact, I also was able to help many of my high school students gain admission into prestigious universities and programs. I enjoy seeing my students succeed and be confident in their knowledge. I hope that through my own teaching, my students will be able to view the world in a better way and contribute to this society as they are our future leaders! Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I play basketball and flag football, learn new kinds of dance, read mystery novels, watch TV shows, and go to various restaurants to try different kinds of food with my friends!
