I have taught ESL in the USA and in Taiwan to students of all English language levels and ages. I love working with language students because I have a personal understanding of how difficult learning a language can be. I am a patient, thoughtful, creative and humorous teacher. I am very curious about my students and enjoy getting to know them and understand how to work with each student individually. I am always thinking of new ways to present information in class and am ready to abandon or adapt a lesson plan if it is not working for a particular student or class. In addition to customizing my lessons to my students, I also make it a point to keep up with current events and the culture of the countries my students are from.
