Born in San Antonio, Texas to a father who was a member of the White Mountain Apache Nation and a mother of the Pascua Yaqui Nation. As my father served in the military, I was raised on the Pascua Yaqui Indian Reservation in Tucson, Arizona. Graduated from Gateway Christian School as Valedictorian. Accepted to Our lady of the Lake University on Academic Scholarship for their dual engineering program. Attended the University of Dundee, Dundee, Scotland. UK. Completed my degree and after a life changing event, I changed direction and joined the Police Academy. I served with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office Felony Warrants division for seven years. I was severely injured in action and decided to return to finish my education after my recovery. I finished my B.A. in 2007 and my M.A. in 2010 both at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I began teaching at the University of Phoenix in 2011. I am still there presently. I have been at adjunct for the following Universities and Colleges; Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio College, St. Philip's College, University of the Incarnate Word, Northwest Vista College, Ashford University, and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
