I was born and raised in Sherman Oaks, CA where my husband and I still live with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews nearby. Family gatherings, early morning walks, and playing board games fill my time when I am not tutoring. I come from a family of teachers. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara, where I received my teaching credential, I returned to Los Angeles and worked as a home/hospital teacher. I worked with students who could not go to school because they were sick. I discovered my love of one-to-one teaching during this time, and soon started my own tutoring business. For over 20 years, I have been very lucky to help students of all ages succeed in mathematics. In the past few years, online tutoring has added flexibility and convenience which is an added bonus. I hope to continue to help students like you overcome their obstacles and reach their goals.
