I’m very excited to be applying for the Join Tutors network. I know my creative background and language skills will make me an asset to your agency and to students. My journey as an actor over the last ten years has made me an expert collaborator and an idea person who enjoys the challenge of solving a problem. I’ve always been a storyteller at heart. While I’ve worked in front of the camera doing national commercials for Burger King and the like, I’ve also helped develop original scripts and worked with some of the city’s funniest people. As an actor, my favorite part about being on stage or in front of a camera is when things go a bit awry and I have to think on my feet and improvise with my fellow actors. I’m look forward to working with students on the fly and finding creative ways to assist their learning. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University in Drama and studied at NYU Paris and the Sorbonne. My entire education and career have been spent on exploring language and using it to communicate effectively to tell a story. I think you’ll find my experience is both unique and a really good fit for tutoring.
