In December of 2016, Carla graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in religion and addictive studies. In August of 2019, Carla received her M.A. in Psychology and her graduate certificate in ABA from Wayne State University. Carla Kevern is currently a school psychologist, board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA), and a Counseing Psychology Ph.D. student at Wayne State University. She currently teaches a graduate-level course called The Learning Process at Wayne State University. Carla has worked with individuals with developmental disabilities for five years. Additionally, for the past 3 years, she has worked with individuals with a broad range of pathology (e.g., borderline, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, conduct disorder). Her research interests include trauma-informed behavior analysis, women's empowerment, social-emotional learning, vicarious trauma, and exercise as they relate to resilience and well-being.
