This past March, I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.S. degree in Cell and Developmental Biology. I moved back home to CDM just when the pandemic was hitting the U.S., and I have been searching for a job ever since. I have applied to a few tutoring positions, but they did not have the capacity to hire once the pandemic began affecting business. So, I am looking to find a job tutoring online. Throughout my academic career, I have been told by my friends, family, and even some professors that I would be a great teacher. I want to be there to help students understand the material they are learning, especially during this often even more difficult transition to online learning. Of course, my background is heavily based in STEM: biology, chemistry, physics, math etc. That being said, I do believe I have excellent writing skills, and regardless of the subject, I have a knack for explaining concepts.
