Hi my name is Hanalei Fong and I recently graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a minor in Biology. I have always looked interacting with people and helping in the best ways I can. Through this coronavirus pandemic especially, I recognize the importance of online teaching and tutoring. Educating kids is incredibly necessary and I want to do my part and use my knowledge to teach others. I have lots of experience working with kids and adults. I have been a patient care technician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on the liver, kidney, pancreas transplant floor for a little over one year. My job is to provide constant, supportive care to patients and obtain vital signs, blood sugar, EKGs, bladder scans, etc. I have also been an assistant swim coach for Bethesda Barracudas swimming club for three summers. I provide coaching for stroke, technique, and speed for kids ages 5-18 years old. I have also been a babysitter for five years. During this time, I have assisted kids that I babysit with their homework in math, science, and english. My leadership skills, communication skills, and basic knowledge would make me a great tutor for kids online.
