My academic background is in engineering and most of my work experience has been complemented by my technical abilities. Outside of work, soccer is my favorite sport, I enjoy playing guitar, and playing video games. I completed my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering in 2010. I also did a few years of a PhD afterward but did not complete it. I have been tutoring since my senior year in high school. During my college years, I had a job tutoring fellow engineering students in math and physics courses. I also volunteered at local schools with students ranging from 5th to 12th grade. In graduate school, I taught some engineering courses at local K-12 schools before briefly working as a Physics teacher in Detroit. In recent years, I have mostly tutored students through personal contacts. Given enough time, I have generally been able to get my students apt enough to get a B on their exams. I am comfortable working with students of different abilities and first look to establish their learning styles, aptitude at the subject we are studying, then determine how our lessons should proceed.
