I am a twenty year veteran teacher. I've been with Greenville County Schools since 1996. I began as a substitute at Bryson Middle for two years. I then went to work as an Administrative Assistant for Safe and Drug-Free Schools and School Accountability. These programs were in charge of Red Ribbon, Code Blue, CrimeStoppers, and Advanced Placement Testing. After four years, I got back into the classroom at Bryson Middle. I taught five years of seventh grade Pre-Alegebra II, four years of sixth grade Literature, three of sixth grade Ancient Civilizations, one year of fourth and fifth grade Gifted and Talented, and the remainder at Northwood Middle teaching social studies. I have been teaching online since March of this year. I am well aware of the hard work and dedication it takes to engage students via the computer.
