I have been a Bay Area resident my entire life. I was born in San Jose, CA and grew up in Milpitas. After high school, I began working in the music retail industry. I did that from 1994 until technology changed the way people consume music. I last worked in that industry in 2011. After that I decided to go back to school and pursue my interest and music and history. I attended Las Positas College where I earned my AA in liberal arts with an emphasis on humanities. I graduated with a 4.0 gpa and transferred to UC Berkeley where I earned a BA in American Studies. My next academic step was to enter the MA program in history at San Jose State where I just graduated this past spring. I am also the proud parent of a 13 year old daughter who is in middle school. I have past experience as a tutor and I am looking to build my experience as a tutor and a future teacher.
