I've been working in programming since graduating with my MSEE in 2001, but tutored previously during school. I tutored math formally 20-hours per week for 1 year at the NMSU-Carlsbad branch. I both had a knack for it and enjoyed it. I was recently laid off with about one third of my company, and personal complications are delaying answers to questions like availability for relocation delaying a commitment to similar work. I believe I could be an asset tutoring math or programming, and it would let me be productive while other things resolve, which could be one month or several. That does imply that I couldn't commit long-term, but also that I have flexibility.
