I completed my student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom at Del Norte Heights Elementary School in El Paso. During that time, I developed formal lesson plans for observations, incorporated different forms of technology and assessments, implemented a variety of classroom management strategies, and created meaningful relationships with each of my students. I enjoyed creating fun and engaging lessons to increase student participation and boost academic growth. In April of this year, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies Degree from Western Governors University. I have also obtained a one year Texas Educator Certificate effective July 1, 2020.
