I am from Venezuela, I have a degree in Biology from Universidad del Zulia (Maracaibo, Venezuela), as well as a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology and a Graduate certificate in Higher Education from the same university. I taught a Microbiology course at Rafael Urdaneta University (URU) in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and also serve as a coordinator of environmental impact studies with G&A Company. I am working in Orange County Public School (OCPS) as Tittle III bilingual assistant teacher. As part of my thesis´ research, I worked with dolphins through studying the GLG´s (growth layer´s group) and the comparison with skull´s measures to determinate any relationship between the age and a skull measure and also to contrast mortality ages among two ecotypes (north and south dolphins). This was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life because understanding, protecting, and caring for marine animals (turtles and mammals) and ecosystems is my passion. I have also been working, at honorem, in a research about marine turtles in University of Zulia since I graduated. In addition, I have worked as volunteer in different islands near the city where I reside (Maracaibo) in order to educate fishermen about safe fishing practices that minimize perturbations on the north dolphin´s and marine turtle populations. I am very committed with my work, I am responsible and I always give my best in every single thing that I do. I also have strong family values like honesty, trustworthy, kindness, respectful and patience, which are very important in an educator. Moreover, I love teaching I always find out how motivate my students in order they learn my topics and then they are able to use them in their career as professionals. I used to change my didactic strategies and my assessment strategies as well.
