I would like to start my introduction with my teaching philosophy. I believe that we learn from everyone and everything around us. We learn from books, from our teachers and from other students. We learn from both our mistakes and our accomplishments. We learn from nature and from animals. We even learn while traveling. The world is a huge classroom full of so many diverse lessons. A good teacher is also a good student and fully understands that teaching, and learning, can be done creatively. This is the teacher that leaves a legacy and lives forever. My name is Teresa and have a Bachelor's degree in General Biology, an Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology, and a Master's degree in Animal Science. I also hold a TESOL certificate. My teaching and tutoring experience has been with students of all ages (5 years old to college and adult students). I've taught and tutored subjects in Life Sciences, Veterinary Science, ESL, English, Reading, Writing, and Web development. I've enjoyed every moment of it and will be honored to continue to share my knowledge with future students.
