Born and raised in south Georgia I received certification in marketing administration and retail management before joining the Air Force. While in the military I received my bachelors in communication with a minor in computer networking. After a term in the military, I had three children while married. I home-schooled my children for nine years before I divorced. Once divorced, I began to work in the public school system in special education and gifted an talented educator. I then began my masters of education in special education only because I wanted to help more in depth. This school year I decided to try out being a classroom teacher for first graders. My own children are a junior, sophomore and in sixth grade and I want a virtual position so that I can be present in my own children's events, activities and sports while doing what I love.
