Hi there, I'm Alexa, and I believe in a student-centered approach to learning. Students retain material best when they're working towards goals that they have set themselves, and using visual, auditory, physical, or oral resources, depending on the learning style that works best for them. My job is to keep them moving towards their personal academic goal. I graduated from St. Mary's College of California with a BA in French Studies and a history minor. With over 8 years of teaching, tutoring, and childcare experience under my belt, I am prepared to employ a wide variety of teaching strategies between different learners. Every individual student has a particular set of needs, and I am here to think outside the box and tailor their tutoring to their specific learning style.
