I began teaching in 2012 as an assistant kindergarten teacher and worked with students one-on-one to help them improve their math and reading skills. Following this, I worked with the Emory Ethics and Servant Leadership program to discuss and discover solutions to school bullying and mentored high school students. In 2015 I volunteered in Italy as an english teacher for low income elementary and middle school students. Next, after moving to New York City in 2016, I worked at the Teachers College Columbia University Graduate Writing Center as a graduate writing advisor. I assisted students at Teachers College with Master's theses, dissertations, manuscripts, memos, and other graduate and professional level writing material. Following this, I found my current position as a tutor for Hey Tutor in January 2019. I worked with students K-12 in english language arts, writing, geometry, academic planning, and test preparation.
