Since 2016 I have worked with and for various alternative educational institutions. I am a teacher, teaching artist, and musician who is passionate about developing equitable opportunities for students around the world. I have provided piano courses for the Youth Detention Center in New Orleans, taught English and test prep workshops for a residential performing arts school in India, facilitated creative workshops for adults with various disabilities, as well as taught English to South Korean Students virtually. My teaching experience includes English Courses, Music Theory Courses, Piano and Voice Courses, and overall Creativity Workshops. I have also briefly tutored students in elementary math and science. My philosophy is to listen closely to each student, then tailor my lessons to respond to their unique learning styles.
