My name is Colleen and I have a passion for education. I'm originally from Connecticut, but moved out to San Diego last year. In college I studied English Literature, Peace and Conflict Studies, and Women's Studies. After college I lived in Duran, Ecuador for a volunteering with Rostro de Cristo. I had the opportunity to learn, live, and grow with the community there. For three years I worked at Saint Martin de Porres Academy as the Graduate Support Associate, teaching and assisting students and families to transition from middle school to high school. I have had the opportunity to drive cross country (twice!). In my free time I love to read, go hiking , and bake bread. Since moving to San Diego I've become a more avid runner and also really enjoy doing yoga. In the fall I am beginning a Master's in Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego.
