I thoroughly enjoy teaching. I have over 15 years teaching a variety of subjects including English as a Second Language, general business, general education development (GED) and software applications. My instructional experience entails adult basic education, continuing education and proprietary school. This consists of instructing and tutoring in-class, lab, and one-on-one tutoring. I've also been a substitute teacher in the public schools for both elementary and secondary education. Further, I have assisted in new course preparation and implementation, in-service training and development. This entailed consulting with administration, and fellow instructors to evaluate and modify course objectives and outcomes. What's most gratifying abut teaching is that it allows me to impart subject understanding and application so that students grasp it individually and collectively. Overall, the effort put forth brings about growth and a foundation for future learning.
