My name is Hannah John and I am a recent graduate from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. I am currently enrolled for the Master’s program in Applied Mathematics and Statistics (track: Statistics) as well. As a Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Statistics graduate, I have a vast range of knowledge in most of the sciences and in math and statistics. While I was in high school, I was part of the Academic Outreach club, which allowed me to tutor middle school students in Math and Science. As a Sunday school teacher and youth coordinator at New Testament Church, I believe I have the skills it takes to guide and help young people overcome challenges and relate to them on a personal level. I love working with students and helping people learn and develop their interest in education.
