I started my career as a Chemical Engineer at the Dow Chemical Company, but left because I wanted to spend more time with my own children. While they were in elementary school, I went back to school to become a certified high school teacher. I was certified in the State of Michigan for Chemistry, Math and Physics for grades 6-12. I taught all 3 subjects for 11 years and have been working as a tutor for the past 4 years. I enjoy working one-on-one and actually seeing how I can make a difference for a student.
