Kate Pruyn is no stranger to the teaching field, having spent eight years as a caregiver and educator. She has taught in a variety of different settings such as working for individual families, private preschools, and public schools. She has over 120 credit hours in the education field and will be graduating from the University of Missouri St. Louis this fall, with a bachelors in Elementary education with an emphasis on Special Education. Kate comes from a long line of educators her father, grandmother, great grandmother, and great grandfather were all teachers. Their perseverance and patience has shown her that while knowledge can inspire people, only time and devotion can turn those dreams into realities. Kate Pruyn is a passionate teacher that knows it is her role to encourage students for an active learning and concerns herself with promoting students’ intellectual development.
