In my experience, I have had the opportunity to write travel books as well as help children and adults around the world achieve their academic goals through teaching and tutoring. The bulk of my experience is within the Romance Language family group - I have taught and tutored French and Spanish since 2007 when I made the transition from travel guide author to educator. I have tutored in elementary math and reading intervention. I have taught students from grade 3 to grade 12 and have employed creative strategies for learning a language. In tutoring, I have developed academic relationships with each student that result in increased scores on tests like the ACT as well as state mandated exams. I enjoy each student and am eager to assist in reaching academic and personal goals. I have also taught English online to young learners in China as well as adults around the world through online platforms.
