Matt Coyne is an experienced bilingual wine business expert with proven success in both academia and business. Throughout his Bachelor and MBA degrees programs at Sonoma State University Matt was recognized for his academic achievements as a member of the Dean's List. Matt led numerous teams in group projects that all earned top marks. One such project is under consideration for publication in academic journals and is in the department's review process. Matt is an experienced coach and tutor in a wide range of areas including academia, business, several wine business specialties, personal development, language, international business culture and martial arts. Matt is a Certified Sommelier under the Court of Master Sommeliers and has passed the Wine & Spirits Education Trust advanced exam (Level III) with distinction. Additionally Matt holds a certificate in the business of wine from the Napa Valley Wine Academy, which was taught by a highly esteemed Master of Wine. These specialized credentials led Matt to lecture at Groupe INSEEC's San Francisco office for their post-bachelor program. Matt has also given numerous additional lectures including at high profile wine industry events in China and for a domestic Wine & Spirits Education Trust program provider. Matt believes hard work, humble passion, and an engaging positive attitude are his keys to success which he hopes to utilize to pay it forward to the next generation.
