My name is Pamela Stasney. I was raised in a multicultural household. My mother earned her master’s degree from the University of Salamanca in Spain, Europe and her undergraduate degree as a teacher here in the United States. My father earned his bachelor’s and his master’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where he later became Head of the Cattle Department at Texas A&M in College Station, TX. I grew up with three older sisters that provided me with many learning opportunities. I learned at a young age that if I stood back and observed my sisters as they experienced their life lessons, I would learn the do’s and don’ts so when it was my turn, I would experience the lessons with more successes than failures. Of course I also learned that the failures taught me what I was doing wrong, so the next time I found myself in a similar situation, I would know what not to do. I earned my bachelors degree at Texas A&M University in College Station with a major in Elementary Education. I also earned post-graduate credits at the University of Salamanca in Spain.
